On June 4-7, 2019 in Kyiv, at VDNH, one of the largest agricultural events in Ukraine took place - the exhibition "Agro-2019".
A huge number of companies presented a variety of products for successful farming. Among them was the common stand of Motorola Solyushins Ukraine LLC and Ukrainian Mobile Telesystems LLC. The team of Ukrainian Mobile Telesystems LLC prompted us to participate in this exhibition with an understanding to present products and system solutions to ensure not only reliable and efficient radio communications, but also personal protective equipment.
The visitors of the exhibition were presented the leading radio stations owning the DMR standard, ideally suited for the needs of the country's agricultural sector in this area. Since the work of this sector is concentrated “in the fields”, where mobile communication coverage does not always satisfy its reliability, that’s why Motorola Solutions fully provide requests for efficient work.
Among the functions could be noted the ability to send text messages, GPS-coordinates. The administrator can track the time an employee goes to work or send them tasks and check on their completion. Some visitors were interested in new opportunities, the Man Down function attracted special attention (when a person fell), when a station user changes his body position sharply - it falls, especially when an employee is far away in the field, an emergency request is sent to the dispatcher when this function is activated, which allows timely respond to non-regular situation. No less interesting for those around was the demonstration of the Lone worker function (a lone worker), with which you can control the work and safety of an individual worker, they send conditional signals to which he can respond by simply pressing the tangent. And when you click the Emergency button, an emergency call to the dispatcher or another user occurs.
In general, the Agro-2019 exhibition allowed potential customers to get to know Motorola Solutions products more closely and make sure that the solutions that were presented can significantly improve communication and organize work in agriculture.
