Licence key required to activate the
Digital Voting feature in a DR 3000 / SLR
1000 / SLR 5500 repeater.
Digital Voting employs multiple Satellite
Receivers (i.e. repeaters configured for
"receive-only") to relay radio
transmissions to a central Voting
Repeater in order to address the Inbound
/ Outbound range mismatches that can
arise due to the different radio / repeater
radiated power levels.
Only the Voting Repeaters in a system
(not the Satellite Receivers) need to have
the Digital Voting feature activated using
the CPS and this requires the purchase of
a separate license key for each Voting
Repeater.
